Bienvenidos,
and thank you for visiting our digital home!
It is my great joy to greet you as the pastor of St. Anthony of Padua and Our Lady of Perpetual Help Mission. We are a blessed Catholic community, rich in faith and legacy, serving Elmendorf and Saspamco.
Like the historic missions that are the foundation of our land, our parish is a spiritual home built on a foundation of faith. We are a gathering place for all who seek Christ. Though we are two beautiful churches, we are one united family, sharing in the Body of Christ.
This new website is our digital gathering place—a central hub for our community. Here, we hope you will find helpful resources, from our Mass schedules and ministry information to reflections on our shared parish life.
Whether you are a lifelong parishioner with deep roots in this community or a first-time visitor seeking a place of peace, please know that our doors are always open to you. We look forward to praying with you.
May God bless you and your family, and may St. Anthony and Our Lady of Perpetual Help pray for us.
In Christ,
Fr. Fidele Dikete

Welcome Home
Rooted in Tradition, Alive in Faith. Since our origins in the mid-19th century, the Catholic community of Saint Anthony has stood as a beacon of hope in Texas. We are one parish family united across two historic altars—from the sanctuary of Saint Anthony in Elmendorf to the mission grounds of Our Lady of Perpetual Help in Saspamco.
Whether you are a lifelong parishioner, a new resident, or a traveler passing through, our doors and hearts are open to you. We invite you to honor our shared history not just by preserving the past, but by building a vibrant future of worship, sacrament, and active discipleship. Join us as we walk together in the light of Christ.
Living Our Faith Through Service
Join a ministry at Saint Anthony or OLPH-Mission and share your gifts, faith, and fellowship.
Faith Formation
We provide programs for children, teens, and adults that support preparation for the Sacraments and promote lifelong learning, helping to deepen their knowledge and devotion to the Catholic faith.
Outreach Ministries
Live your faith through action. Our outreach programs assist those in need, strengthen our local community, and stand up for the vulnerable, embodying Christ’s command to love our neighbors.
